Programs at Amity House
Drop-inFax / Scan / Print / Photocopy
Come in and one of our staff will be more than happy to help you fax a document, scan a document to your email, photocopy documents or assist you in printing. * Please note: there is a maximum of 10 pages that can be printed for free per day per person. Public Computers
We have 2 computers available for use on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that you limit your time to one hour per visit. Community Space

Amity House employs 2 full time Outreach Workers. Our Outreach Workers can help you with benefit applications, connecting you to resources, provide support, crisis intervention and more. You are welcome to drop-in or make an appointment for assistance. Free Bread
We have free bread available every Monday, Tuesday and Friday donated from local bakeries. There is a limit of one shopping bag full of bread per person. Income Tax Filing
We are a CVITP partner and offer free Tax Filing services for basic income tax returns. Our clinic is open from the beginning of March to the end of November. We will start booking appointments for the previous tax year at the end of February. SWAP SHOP
We have a donation area where you can get clothing and small household goods for you and your family for free. You can also access Coats for Kids here. Donations are appreciated but not expected. COmmunity Lunch
The 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 11:30-1:00pm lunch is served! Come join us for a delicious hot meal and great company. |

If you are in need of assistance with settlement services, we have partnered with Action for Healthy Communities and are able to offer space for you to meet with one of their settlement workers every Friday. We are a depot for the WeCan Food Basket Society, a program that allows participants to stretch their food dollar by joining a larger group, enabling bulk purchases. Please call us to find out monthly payment and pick-up dates. Collective Kitchen
**The collective Kitchen program has currently been placed on hold as we transition from online back to in-person classes. We will update you once we have our schedule for in-person classes. COOKING WITH AUNTY
Amity House has partnered with Indigenous Birth of Alberta to create "Cooking with Aunty" which runs over Zoom. Join Métis Birthworker, Noreen from Heart2Heart Doula Care who leads our "Cooking with Aunty" class centered on affordable and nutritious Indigenous food. After preparing our meal together we will have a sharing circle as we enjoy tasting our creations.
